Hi, I am Tina Ussher

I began my career as a professional hairdresser, studying in the UK to refine my craft and become an expert in the hair industry. Over the years, I worked closely with clients—particularly parents—helping them find effective and safe haircare solutions.

The Birth of Hair TLC Organic

I noticed a recurring issue among parents who were struggling to care for their children’s natural hair without resorting to harsh chemicals. I saw firsthand the harmful effects of relaxers applied at a young age—chemical damage, scalp problems, and more—which fueled my determination to find better alternatives. My personal journey took a dramatic turn when I experienced severe hair loss. This crisis pushed me to seek a deeper understanding of hair care and cosmetic formulation. Determined to create solutions that truly worked, I enrolled in a cosmetic science course to learn how to develop safe, natural products. This comprehensive exploration led to the creation of Hair TLC Organic—a line of plant-based, chemical-free products designed to promote hair growth, repair damage, and reduce hair loss. By merging personal experience with scientific knowledge, Hair TLC Organic was born out of a genuine desire to provide healthier, more natural options for both children and adults alike.

My passion didn’t stop at creating products. I launched TLC Hair and Skincare Academy to train and empower others. Through online and in-person courses, I teach braiding, haircare, and skincare formulation, helping individuals start their own businesses and gain financial independence."
